Republic of Indonesia (ID/INA - Garuda One)

Rumor has it that the government of Indonesia will be acquiring a Boeing BBJ2 for executive transport purposes (read: Presidential Taxi). Indonesia never had an official aircraft dedicated to transporting the president, relying mostly on Garuda Indonesia. So with that in mind, I have created a livery for their Big Boss Jet.

I decided to keep the livery pretty simple, following the tradition of understated design often seen with most government airplanes. The green cheatline refers to Indonesia's nickname as the "Emerald of the Equator'. The red and white is the color of the Indonesian flag, and the red line crossing over the green stripe is to represent the country that stretches over the equatorial line.

Indonesia's emblem, the Garuda, has been worked into the design, as has the presidential seal seen aft of the cockpit. I imagined the same logo affixed to the inside of door 1 so that when it is opened, the seal remains visible.

Here it is, the new Executive BBJ. And for the first time ever, I have included a special feature. Mouse over the image for details, scroll to zoom.
